Construction Tools. (Recomendations and Questions)
« on: March 23, 2014, 07:47:14 PM »
Thought this topic would be a good sticky, and here is a start.

I have just bought a Ryobi angle grinder, of the 125 mm variety from Bunnings ($79.00)

It is by far the quietest, smoothest angle grinder I have ever used and it has a ton of power. I have just sliced off a lump of the bolt of a tow ball from the towbar I was given, and then a vertical slice through the nut as it was rusted on. The 1mm thick cutting disc sliced through with ease (and a shower of sparks) with barely a judder and no snatching.

The grinder seems to be a newish item, and has a green and black handle

No Grass fires Winston, Trailer chassis is still leaning against the wall. My holidays in Thailand keep eating time and money

Thought of your Ryobi today whilst using my 30? year old Makita, vibrates like you wouldn't believe, maybe I have to go to Bunnings.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
I believe in the "hereafter", every time I go to the shed I have to think "what am I here after"
