Hi guy's after some insight as to the variation in weight for bar ends
someone has suggested to me that changing the weight can assist with changing the harmonics through the hand grips
around 100 - 120 there is a vibration ( slight buzzing through the grips )
And no there's not a pack of bees in there !

It's not real bad but I got the same sensation from previous bikes 4 & twin cylinder
Is it a std feeling with the ST range ??

Adding weight will reduce the vib, but I dont know how to go about it. I just hang on and ride, you soon forget about it.

I purchased Bar End Weights for a Kawasaki GTR1000 back in '09. The GTR1000 used to have a fair bit of vibration in the bars
They cost me $60 plus $15 postage from Glenn who lived in W.A.  He was selling them on GTR-AUS web site
He rides a GTR1400 and his wife had a GTR1000 trike if anyone knows them
They were great a big improvement, actually they are still in the cupboard here somewhere, but not for sale
I did not fit them to the ST1300 because I didn't think they need it  :grin

I used a set of "grip puppies" over the original hand grips on my 1100. Gives a larger diameter around the grips and much softer and more comfortable.  :thumbsup
I used to end up with "pins and needles" in my hands after a few hours.  :crazy

Changed to the Showchrome heated grips on the 1300, and no longer have the bar-ends on the bike.

I use the foam overgrips also. Makes the grip a bit bigger in diameter which helps with my arthritic hands. They are available from WA as well. Google up 'motorcycle hand grips'.

I use Grip-puppies and I like them.

On a BMW K100RT I had there was excruciating vibration through the bars at around 100 kph and it was suggested to me that I fill the handlebars with lead shot, available, I was told, from a fishing tackle shop. Remove the right-hand bar end, with the bike on its side stand and using a funnel, fill away. Could probably blow it in with an air hose if needed.

I never got around to it - sold the bike - so I can't vouch for its efficacy.
