June Newsletter!

Well Everyone it is nearly the end of financial year, and we have had a busy month in our little world of OzSTOC!

We had RTE (Lunchtime Meet Ups) in SA, NSW/ACT, WA, and QLD that where all a great success and where well attended. Unfortunalty the Weather got the Better of the girls and boys in Victoria and Tassie

EVENTS

South Australia

The South Aussies got together at the Gilbert Valley Hotel for the first Official OzSTOC Meet up, we don't have a lot of members down there, and two of them away riding around Australia, it was attended by Pete & Mel, Ray, Phil, Alan & Heather.




NSW/ACT

for the first ever combined NSW/ACT event the destination was The Robertson  Pie Shop, and the comment was made "if it was this cold would as many Queenslanders turned up as we did" I don't know, but bloody good effort everyone who came along!

Western Australia

The Westies had a great showing at the New Norcia Hotel on a glorious day (but slightly cool) to be on a bike! and the hotel itself looked amazing.





Queensland

The Queenslanders headed off for lunch at one of our sponsors The ESK Bakery, a really good run in by all, and the numbers where brilliant, Diesel & Streak where seen to be looking a bit gobsmacked about all the bikes that turned up! QLD was lucky though they seemed to get the pick of the weather!




NEWS & UPDATES

All has been pretty busy around the world that is OzSTOC, We seem to be posting Shirts, Badges, coffee Mugs, Stubbie Coolers to all ends of Australia.

OzSTOC presented a framed photo (donated by Tipsy) of the national rally to the ESK Bakery for their support of our 2012 Rally, Streak Below presenting the photo:



Watch the Rides Sections, Overnight events are being worked on for later in the year for when it starts to warm up a little.

We have a new member in the OzSTOC Team which is SAAZ, he is helping out with organising rides and events, so if you want to organise one and want some help send him a message on the forums!



MEMBER NEWS

Well we have had our first membership deletions, anyone who had registered to the website, not updated their details on the profile at all and not logged on in 6 months, so  we have deleted about 12 people off the website, we will continue this trend as well, to keep it active, and so we don't build up with false numbers.

We have had our first member from NEW ZEALAND Join who has just completed his adventures riding around Australia, so read his stories, it's worth it.

MEMBER MAP

Well the Member map is quickly catching up to the member numbers, up until tonight we have 240 members with 218 people making note of what state/town they are in, it has really helped us with events and people getting to know and make friends, so keep it going!
