Beverley to Perth Race
« on: September 08, 2013, 09:35:55 PM »
Today was one of the annual renactments of this race, riders told me of speeds of 30 MPH, some of the bikes in York this morning.

The original in 1904 took 9 hrs for the 116 miles, only 3 finished from a start number of 9.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
I believe in the "hereafter", every time I go to the shed I have to think "what am I here after"

It happens first weekend in Sept, leave Beverley at 8, via York, Northam, Chidlow and finish at Vic Park.
Approx 20 bikes.
