Looking at the manual there are a couple of options that would perhaps make a difference..."EV" & Frequency maybe?  :think1
I'll look into it when I get a chance...

In the meantime, I reviewed the rear video footage on my phone and it doesn't look anywhere near as bad as it did in the snapshot...

These days they usually are 1080P front and rear, with no settings adjustments necessary.  Giving the cameras a wipe to remove dust from tie to time helps.
