I carry a TyrePliers kit and some extra CO2 cylinders.   I've also made an adapter so I can also use the smaller and more common C02 sparklet type cylinders.  it has only ever been used to repair someone else's puncture.

Always, and a compressor as well. Never bothered with CO2 cylinders, as you never have enough of them to inflate the tyre, and they are expensive. Also, once they are used the are done, A compressor can be used many times.

I never used to worry about it until one of the tyres on my first trailer developed a leak. So we stopped in the next garage and got some of that Holts tyre sealant stuff. That was sometime in late 2006 and 3 years later I replaced both tyres and tubes after the tyre leak became evident again.

I've used and needed it on the bike once in 8 years and that was in late 2007 up at Port Hedland. I booked the bike in for a rear tyre change at the Karratha Honda dealer for my next day off so it meant a 240km ride for that.

Now I have the plugs etc. as a just in case I need them in the trailer (air pump in kept in car). No issues with punctures with the last 5 sets of tyres.

I have the co2 cylinder and plug kit. It is tucked in under the seat with my toolkit.  For the price I think you are nuts if you ride any sot of distance without the means to fix a tyre.

The fact I carry it will probably mean I won't get a flat. But I know what'll happen the second I take it out! 

The worse thing is my Harley riding mates know I have it and so don't feel the need to carry their own.  It could prove lucrative I guess on some lonely road somewhere if one of them has a flat!!!

After wasting stupid money on Harleys, they've only got enough left for petrol, so you aren't gonna get anything out of them!

Throw in a valve stem as well.
My brother-in-law broke a valve stem (rock?) west of Warwick on his BMW.
I carted his wheel on the back of my ST1100 to the nearest town for a repair. The tyre place had one valve stem left. It's best to carry your own spare.

I have a repair kit with reamer and worms, and carry an air compressor which plugs into a 15 amp ciggy socket.
Have never taken the kit out of its packaging, and have had it for several years without needing to use it.

Yes, I have an old kit from my 4By that I will pull apart and make a m/c kit out of it. Just need to pickup a micro compressor....all good..

Many years ago I had a can of pressurised goo which is put into a deflated tyre to seal and re-inflate a puncture. I think it was called Zoosh.
Had a flat somewhere south of Carnarvon, WA. Goo is supposed to be good as an emergency repair, for 80 to 100k.
Didn't check the tyre again until the following day at Geraldton, some 480k south. Tube was still at full pressure.

That was one of only 3 punctures I have suffered in many years of travelling.

Word of advice for all wadding tyre kit repair carriers - Next time you get the chance, practice on an old tyre. The trick is to feel your way down the path left by the causative agent, not as easy as it looks and by practicing with the ability to see the inside of the tyre it will give you confidence when you have to do it for real.

Or you can use you power driver to run a screw into your tyre, then do it for real...

I also carry a repair kit and a compressor and have never had to use it on the bike, but I did do a repair with the kit on my car tyre once a couple of years ago, the tyre lasted ok without losing air for the next 20,000 kms before having to replace the tyre, so I'm pretty happy with the result especially considering I'd never plugged a tyre previously. I never take them out of the pannier!
