Welcome Dan/Des.

Seeing as you're in Qld just some words of wisdom: Don't get an OzSTOC shirt (They're crap) and whatever you do, don't let anyone take your photo and never go to a Qld OzSTOC meeting. :-(((

Take care,

Dave R                                            :wht13

 :rofl Thanks for the wisdom!

Ha ha, better late than never eh?   :wink1

I have indeed got the 1100-P and I have to say it's growing on me.  I've still not been on a proper ride though, so can't say what it's like on a twisty road but so far I'm happy with it.

Any updates?  Well, so far it's been serviced - oil, filters, plugs, rear pads, valve check, FD oil, brake and clutch fluids.

I've also installed my Zumo 550 and a 12v socket, both switched with some of the extra switches mainly because they are there, but also for some extra insurance against the rain.  I also stuck on some 3m black reflective strips on the back and most important, and Aussie flag!

Oh and today I got my Staintune baffles through the post, so I put them in and it's a lot more civilised now - I hate stupid loud bikes.

Other plans.... well apart from riding it I intend to do:

- HID headlights (35w, 4300k, AC)
- Hella FF50's on some Police light brackets (which I don't have unfortunately)
- Motorcycle radio, that I saw on here
- I need to get hold of a new time clock as some of the bars don't work on mine
- I might think about knocking up some sort of rack for where the pillion seat should be, but not sure about that yet.  But it bugs me that all the space under the hump is wasted, and I can't strap stuff across where the rear seat should be.  Ideal space to store a compressor and tyre plugging kit.
- Need to knock up a tyre changing frame when I get hold of some wood.
- I caught myself looking at those SPOT transmitter things, if I get around to doing some longer rides I might get one of those in the future too.
- Oh and I need to install my video camera too - I have a V.I.O. POV 1.  It's not HD but good enough.  The power line is installed, just meed to find somewhere to mount the camera head.

Of course most of the plans are based on me getting a proper job!

Oh yeah - I changed the coolant too - what should be a straightforward job is made in to a right b@$tard because if where Honda hid the drain bolts....  :cuss but I got there.

I have read that there is a way to do it by using a hose to blow out the coolant, I might look that up next time.
