Map looks good- chance for a kip in your own bed is always a solid idea.
Will look forward to seeing where you are up to... when I get up! :thumbs

All this best :hatwave Ride safe :thumbsup

Thank you sir, doing it with a mate here, we designed it this way becuase of the heat, figured a shower at home in the heat of the day, and a mind reset is a good thing
-
Best wishes Streak, and I'll be watching with interest. ++

Best of British luck good sir.
May YOUR tyres hold their air and get you home.

They got a little cool as they crossed the border into NSW just before the sun came up......that will soon change as they turn for Moree :H

Just got off the phone with Streak :phone
They are traveling well and have finished their rest stop in Toowoomba (Shower, feed & rest) and are heading on the next stretch to Gympie :runyay
Biggles streak said to tell you:
"The Thorzt Hydration stuff I sell in my store is great!"
Here's the link if anyone is interested... (From personal experience I can agree it really is good :thumbsup)

Anyway it sounds like they are having an awesome time and are really enjoying the ride :runyay

Only an hour's break in Toowoomba- he's not spoiling himself. Should start cooling down somewhat. He's in the high bushland, so is probably coping pretty well compared with Moree.
-
looks like he is doing well so far
-
Just north of Brisbane nearly on home stretch Doing well mate
Home in time for work tomorrow :hatwave
-
I thought he'd be up the D'Aguillar Hwy to Yarraman or Esk, but he's slabbing it all the way from Gympie.
You'll never see any roos that way, Streak! :-(((

Going to bed ride report later

Well done, Streak- home with hours to spare.
Looking forward to the report of what would have been a challenging day in the heat. ++

Congratulations and well done, on what would have been a difficult day for a long distance ride. :thumb
-
Glad it all came off safely :thumb

Congratulations Graham

Well done.
hard Ass ??? What's that?

hard Ass ??? What's that?
An Aussie attempt to clone IBA. You're a Hard Ass if you do 1000 km in a day. You'd scrape in... :grin
They had a web presence but I can't find it now.
The Mericans have a Candy Butt Association for "smell the roses riding".

hard Ass ??? What's that?
There's also another Aussie certification body called "Long Distance Riders"
See http://longdistanceriders.net/ (http://longdistanceriders.net/)
-
Longdistanceriders.net is American...been around for years and the Aussie hard ass is just another FarRiders but with a facebook presence and no formally organised RTE's, so same as FarRiders list rides option pretty much...

great effort Graham, well done
