It was a pretty simple swap over, didnt have to change fuses or anything as the draw from the LEDS is much much less than the Halogens

I do very little night riding, but decent lights would be a must for night touring, and you seem to have achieved something special. Great Farkling! If I ever need to fit some aftermarket spots, the Cree Set looks like a very useful addition.

Certainly makes the low beam look sick!
It's a blatant hijack, but was anyone else sucked in by this great bit of stunt riding on the same Youtube page?
I'm not embedding it to reduce the hack-factor.

these LEDs and the controller worry me a bit.
IF the controller draws 8 amps then the unit is drawing an amp less then 2 x 55w globes, admittedly a lot brighter. but not giving the earlier 28 amp alternator a rest. which is why I am LED shopping.
also how does one get on with the control fob with gloves and where to stick it ?

I considered the control box and promptly threw it in the bin, decided the lights are for seeing better not setting the mood....

Love the setup. Could you tell me a little about the brackets you used to mount them on. Want to do something similar with st 1100
