We very rarely ride of a night time for a variety of reasons.....the main being, being blindsided by an over grown grasshopper doesn't appeal to our sense of adventure and equally important the good coffee shops aren't open at night
Conversely when travelling away in the car we prefer to do our bigger miles in the dark and often leave at 10pm to get to our destination for breakfast, so HID's across the front of the car and a Bullbar go along way to offering peace of mind
But a FarRide next month for Pockey will have us doing a stint in the dark so.......a Driving light install would go some way to easing our burden, so the criteria was based around they would be rarely used and even removed when no possible chance of them being used when touring as again we travel during the day to look around.
So MCL from the USA under mirror brackets and 55watt 4" 4300k HID's 1x Spot 1x Euro from Aust, where what we settled upon, 35watt for lesser load upon the alternator would have been preferred but where difficult to source in the style we were after.
So for $235 for lights, loom and brackets delivered this should suit our occasional use.
