I considered the Murray River Queen as the place for lunch but all I could see for the menu was Asian cuisine so I stayed with the hotel.

The hotel has dining from 12:00PM until 2:00 pm and 6pm until 8:30 pm on weekends and River Queen does lunch and evening dining as well. so there is some choice for those staying overnight

Its looking very unlikely I will be able to escape the limitations of life in Melbourne for this one. We have a new ish 2 yo dog who is enrolled in an obedience course which starts this week and I hadnt allowed that I will need to be present most weeks. So enjoy everyone and I will see you at a later rte or on the road.

I more than likely shall be going to Murray Bridge and following the river up to Swan Reach, then Maggea to Waikerie.  Time permitting make do the Cadell and Morgan ferries.

 I've just realized that this RTE corresponds with the Royal Wedding, with the telecast beginning at 0930.    Do we need to cancel the RTE for this important event ?    :grin

Pete, the wedding stuff is PM, not AM.

You should be back in time so that you won't miss a bit of it.  :thumbsup

Morgan is probably very excited with a bride of the same name getting married.

Can't wait for the birth of their fourth child.

Back to one attending for us, Julie has picked up a lurgy from school. Pity, we'll miss the celebrations at Morgan but at least I'll be able to watch the ceremony from the comfort of home. I'm hoping the bridesmaid is up to par with Kate's  WOW: :clap
