help with the front "air intake" panel
« on: June 26, 2017, 02:04:25 PM »
Hi all,
I noticed on my bike that the r/h side of the plastic panel just under the screen ( Not sure of its correct name, but it has the Honda logo!) is not quite clipped into the side at the bottom r/h edge. I assume  would have to remove the windscreen to access/remove/re-seat that panel? It looks like it has small (metal?) clips but I could be wrong...No big deal but would like to see it seated correctly.

That panel is held in with two screws up top under the screen and the centre push in part just above the headlight centre.

The bottom is also held in place by a plastic tab each side and these can break off.

That's the part number 64125-MAJ-G00ZA and local price is about $165 so not really worth it.

Thanks Alan...yep I reckon it has broken off that tiny plastic tab! No big deal...appreciate the information!
