Pete, maybe a shorter ride as backup if the weather is extreme?

I agree. Have a think about a "Plan B". Perhaps Cafe de Villis if the fiorecast is for something higher than 35 degrees.

Mmmmm ..... if forecast max. temp is that high, I'd be suggesting Cafe de Shillas.

Julie and I hope to be there, in fact we're looking at options to make it a 2 or 3 day ride. If stinking hot I suspect we'll stay in the airconditioned comfort of home rather than put on all the clobber and head down to close to the city.

With a forecast of 38° for Saturday in Crystal Brook and no aircon on the ST's, in consultation with Pete, the RTE will now be a bit closer & cooler.

New venue is:

Macclesfield Hotel, Venables Street Macclesfield

Our intention was to head down to Point Turton for a couple of days after Crystal Brook so we will bow out of this RTE and head over a day earlier. Enjoy the lunch gents. Cheers Mark
