ESCORTS URGENTLY REQUIRED

I have been speaking to the Organisers of the "Battle on the Border" cycling event (push bikes). They are pretty keen to to utilise our services especially if we are able to come up with the numbers.
This is for a three day event Friday, Saturday, Sunday on and around the Tweed Hinterland, Northern NSW. Dates:- 29th, 30th and 31st of May They need 10 to 12 Bikes to work along side NSW Police in escorting the cycle riders through a series of closed roads. Duties will involve blocking intersecting roads and watching for vehicles that may intrude onto the course and assisting riders if required.


Hours are long 06:00 - 17:00 and for that you will receive overnight accommodation, running costs for the bike and "A Generous Donation" to the OzSToc Management Committee.

I will need to confirm numbers by the 1st of May, so I am asking interested parties to get back to me ASAP. If I am able to obtain the numbers required I will get back to you all with further details[/size]

Give it a go guys, it is long tiring work but fun.

Looks like OzSTOC is going the next step. The OzSTOC MAMIL MINDERS  (Mitch coined the term not me)

And think of the extra farkling ideas, from simple Hazard flasher system (Very easy to install) to LED Strobe systems, all justifiable..

Chris just checked his roster and he is on duty all of those days, we would have liked to have done this as we cycle also and haven't had the chance to do somthing like this  :-[
