Title: air filter screw aargh
Post by: troy_s on June 02, 2019, 03:51:48 PM
Hi all,
thought I would be clever and have a look at my air filter. In doing so, I managed to drop a screw in the void between the cover housing and the front of the bike. (best description I can give). The question is, is there anything down there that a screw could make a mess of?

It might turn up in the black bottom cowling next time you take it off.
Or not.  Black holes are reluctant to give back what is thrown in them.

Could try the `magnet on fishing line` trick? I mean what could possibly go wrong?

:think1 Throw a screw down the other side to make sure your bike remains balanced, or you could get increased tyre wear on one side  :o :whistle  :grin

Im all about balance./ I even drilled a hole in the left hand side of the engine so I could even out the oil during a change. Dont want it all sitting on one side.
