Most Online Today numbers which are usually between 400 or 500 and even up to 588 on March 14th
Have dropped to 154 today, are we doing it different :think1
-
I had no problems opening this page but one of the other forums I look at was offline for quite a while today. Perhaps people had connectivity issues.
-
Significant drop indeed >:()
-
over the past year or two everything has been dropping off, even the number of posts, I put it down to less users
-
And the pre-Christmas season.

The number of Guests is always significantly higher than the logged in users.
I don't know if this is down to registered members not logging in to read replies
(as happens when using my mobile) or there are just alot of regular unregistered people browsing the forum.
-
I pretty much only use Tapatalk these days.

I stay logged in, so I don't know whether the software counts me as being here 24/7 or only "sees" me when I have the screen open at the OZSTOC tab.
-
Many members use tapatalk, so wonder if that registers as a login? Haven't used the web interface for a while now

Maybe a few also using Facebook more now?

I had a look at that on the tablet (still installed) - it's ok but I can use a keyboard a lot quicker than one finger typing on the tablet.
It's either desk top or laptop for me.

Me too
I just checked this phenomenon. Ppopeye is shown as "off-line" even though he is presumably still regarded as being "logged-in" when he opens the Forum page.
So the counter only counts you as present when you actually have the Forum webpage open in your browser.

Here here.
I did a bit of research on the comparisons and the 11 wins hands down.
If i have to get a 3D printer to make bits I will. The ST1100 has everything you need in a sports tourer.
Lorien Vale yours is not alone in the keep alive stakes. :blu 11 :respect

On the post subject matter I, for one, is a very busy bee and receive 10s of email from promotions, work and charities daily.
1. It is easy to miss important email and
2. Did I mention busy?
There is no lack of love but a lack of time. Soon to be resolved when I retire, again next year.
Hang in there OZSTOC ! We need each other.

Might have had some interest form another Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/groups/2346439053/ (https://www.facebook.com/groups/2346439053/) as I send a forum link if I see any Aussie members on there. Someone might as a "How to" and if we have on the forum I'll direct them here as well.
Not saying anyone will join but might increase the traffic a little.

Often in the users online I have seen usernames in blue or green text and just assumed they were moderators or administrators etc. but today for the first time I saw my name in green. Is there a reason for this?
-
Means we're green with envy & jealous of you ;-*
-
Hmmm, I'm green too.

From time to time I do link some how to posts and others to a couple of Pan sites on Facebook but whether it has any effect or not on view counts is unknown.
Some of us that use Facebook also direct other Australians on those sites based on their post location to the forum and that too might make other people be a little curious. Hard to say if any new members have joined or not though.

We have a lot of members who dont login all the time, I suppose there could be a few bots but all they can do is look at the site. I spend a lot of time blocking intruders.

You let me in/stay. (http://www.footballnews.com.au/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Well there sure are a lot of lurkers out there because it's just the same bunch of us that ever post anything- except for the rare new rider who writes an intro- maybe one a week.
