Hi JB and welcome to the forum.   Lots of our members are using Highway Blades and say that they are one of the best additions they have made to their bikes.   The Motorcycle Larry Highway Blade kits are very popular, but at $280 USD plus shipping, I will continue to get by without a set.  I am not sure if Tipsy is making kits for the ST1300 yet.

As stated, a must have for long distance riding.  Also beneficial on the ST13s in summer when you need to get your legs away from the furnace that many of us (but not all) experience.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Ok guys, RE: Hiway pegs. I made my own. A metal pergola post base, cut off top and bottom leaving a 180mm x 32mm tube, cut it in half. 2x 120mm long coach bolts, 4x washers 2x nuts. fit bolts with washer top and bottom finger tight nut and tac weld both washers, this centralises everything. 2x flat steel 50x50mm, drill hole for bolt and weld to front of crash bars. I used a spare hiway peg of my Thunderbird, but Kuryakin have lots of reasonably priced pegs. The peg is easily removed for access to the engine.
