He did ring.

Ray and Graeme what time will you be back at Balladonia Saturday night?

Malcolm will also at this stage be riding out with us and staying at Balladonia Friday night
Also Malcolm did you ring Saaz on the bed at the Border or you heading back to Balladonia Saturday night remember its 500kms back from the border  :popcorn

All up i am starting at 4.00 Via Brookton, york Southern cross at 10 Balladonia at 5.15pm, this gives me 1028 kms
Leave Sat 6.30 into Border 2.30pm ( sometime confused if this is 4.00 central time or 3.30)  sign in meet and greet then leave at 5.00pm back to Balladonia at mignight.  late late sleep in and wander back Sunday. May stay somewhere Sunday night depends on how I feel. This gives me a fresh fr10 first up.

If I was going on my own I might consider that but since I'll have Heather with me we'll have a more leisurely ride over and leave home about midday on the 2nd.

We're unable to make this one even though it was just a ride for the weekend for us.

Heather's long awaited knee replacement op is being done on the 1st August which we only got notified of yesterday (due cancellation).

Thank goodness for heated rooms, cause it's going to be freaking cold.

I'm not sure how I'm going to get a sheep on the ST though. I don't want yo be lonely.  :'(

Thanks, I think it will go ok.

Another year, that's true..... :think1 it would be unusual for us seeing the border as destination rather than a rest stop as you go through the check point to WA.

I am off early tomorrow morning to get the 1200kms over and done with early (to Port Pirie). After that only 600km days to get to Border Village (Ceduna then BV).  On the way back Streaky Bay, Mildura then home.  I don't have time to post it, but the bike just happened to have 202,222 on the odometer when I rolled back in from Biloela, and I did not even plan it.  A while to go for the 222,222 if I remember...

Last year was the same, worst run out of the ST11 ever on straight roads.  I will be allowing for 400kms maximum range from a full tank, which is a bit scary.

We're in Pirie on Wednesday for pre-op visit and again on Thursday when Heather gets admitted (don't know time yet) to the Hospital.
