Yikes! Wonder how the motorbikes faired?

From this pic it's hard to tell, but it looks like a cruiser of some sort helped minimise damage to the Ranger, the VW and the Hyundai - no wonder they (some cruisers) have a reputation of being an anchor.
Hope there isn't a bike between the VW and Hyundai.

Alice and I are caravanning in Tasmania, currently in Richmond.
There were lots of dogs running around the place this morning having been blown off their chains by the strong winds last night.

I'm a bit surprised the bike was tied down next to cars. When I've travelled on the ferry the bikes had their own tie-down area.
It's a bit odd that the ship sailed into that savage weather. It must have caught the forecasters off-guard.

We travelled home on the night before and while pretty lumpy (3 metre swells) was bearable. Friends travelled that night ended up with a damaged car. Apparently most damage was to those parked in the rear of the ship. They knew there would be a 6 metre swell. Bikes are lumped together but not in allocated areas. We were travelling home from WA after 11,000 kms and 5 weeks. I'll post some photos when I get a chance.
