I originally got the news via txt from Whizz' phone - which may be off now or not monitored.

I have asked for an update and will post as soon as I hear anything.

I imagine Paul is undergoing surgery as I type this and I may ring the Hosp later if I haven't heard back.

I have just heard that Paul is going in to surgery tomorrow. At least he is taking a brain to a knife fight.. right mate?

Matylda wishes to thank Members of this Forum and express her's and Paul's gratitude for the ongoing support and well wishes. She will contact me once again when there is news to report.

C'mon Paul, go mate!

All the best for tomorrow.

I will report back on results and visiting hours as soon as I hear back from the Howards.

Paul is back from theatre, able to talk, and has his memory in tact.

Won't know about the pathology of the cancer for a few days - but the biggest hurdle is over.
