Passing the OzSTOC Baton
« on: June 02, 2014, 04:30:20 PM »
Well the deed is done and life has started in the OzSTOC hot seat for the team dubbed "the three little pigs"......the term came to light from the outgoing fore fathers of this great club when a token gift was sort. While a bottle of  59' Penfolds Grange Hermitage was far more fitting of the occasion we felt, the cast of Dad & Dave couldn't pass on a couple of bottles of Jim Barry "three little pigs" Shiraz Cabernet Malbec 2012.

So thats Pockey on the right on the tambourine and her sultry vocal tones and fine legs.....to cool for school in his aviator sunnies Saaz on the bass, and making all the noise and trying to keep the tempo up the back on the skins is moi

The change over has been a subtle process over the last few months with the finishing touches added this past weekend, naturally the consultative process with Diesel & Streak will be an ongoing relationship to keep this fantastic club heading in the direction that has far exceeded the expectations of its founders.

The vision we have for OzSTOC is I'm sure the same as the vast majority of members here, that is to merely continue to guide OzSTOC in its existing formate along the path that this club has enjoyed and promoted since its conception. OzSTOC due to the passion and commitment of our members has developed its own momentum and winning formula that proves the old adage of "if it ain't broke".

A few subtle changes will evolve over the coming weeks that are intended to not only lighten the collective load of Saaz, Pockey and I, but to more importantly utilise the wealth of knowledge, experience and skills from within the member base of OzSTOC to achieve our common goal......being the continued development of OzSTOC and the experience enjoyed by us all that  this  progressive forum based motorcycle club provides.

A number of members have been approached and accepted roles in support areas including:

State Ride Co-Ordinators
OzSTOC Shop
National Rally Co-Ordinator
Facebook Administrator
Information Technology consultant

Team OzSTOC also has a number of future projects in the planning stages:

Future Shop clothing and accessories
OzSTOC member group interstate tours
Enhanced National Rally program
Workshop and bike maintenance days
Enhancement of future state RTE calendars
Preferred supplier deals for members

As all of these future concepts come to fruition through a consultative process with members we will release them to the greater club.

The current forum moderation team of Brock, Saaz, Pockey and I are always approachable and only to willing to do all that we can to provide a rewarding OzSTOC experience for all members into our exciting future.

You may notice that one of OzSTOC's stalwart members and forum Moderators Whizz has been inactive for some time. Whizz has elected to place his membership on hold as his riding career at this time seams uncertain and reading and participating in the forum was akin to throwing a starving man a chip.....he has asked that his decision be unquestioned and we at OzSTOC remain respectful of his wishes.

Thank you all who have expressed their well wishes and offers of skills and support to the "three little pigs".

Cheers and respect

ST2UP, Pocket STocker and Saaz
