He sure had you worked out.  It was an obvious ploy by you to bike-jack him, with your pillion punching him out and stealing the ST.

It figures that a 'Wing rider would covet a Red ST13.   :p

Teela .... Saw the same group on my way to work (opposite direction)   a few. 11's & 13's some with trailers.  Plenty of waving action.

Blue St 1300. Parked opposite the casino, toward the ferry terminal, Tues 16th PM.  :blu13 Took a picture of the OzSTOC stickers on each pannier. Is this a known person of identified origin, :think1 I thinks to myself?

Shiney you park there because you are "turning tricks" (working = male escort) at the Casino??? so you can afford farkles, and a tent that houses the ST.

Have seen heaps at the Ulysses AGM. Gave a card to a volunteer who has an 1100, one to a rider on a 1300 and left one on the tank of another 1300.

Maybe he wasn't, Abe. I didn't find anyone doing that. Not that I'm experienced at looking for one of  'those' people. :-[ :eek

Not saying I was looking, of course.

I was just checking out the architecture whilst waiting for a bus. 8)

Should be quite a few there. Saw at least 7 or 8 heading north on Sunday when I was returning from Hervey Bay. I, unfortunately, was not on the STeed.

I was talking to Saaz & TerryB on Facebook this morning saying I expected an emu parade with every carding every ST they can find  :cop

Apparently they where going to do that after a couple of Crownies, I am suspicious they might have been telling me what I wanted to hear.... :crackup

But are dead right should a perfect place to find many ST's there!

I say chaps. has anyone ever noticed the purple St1100 parked just near the Cnr of Barton St and Beattie Rds at Archerfield? Just at the northern end of Archerfield Airstrip.

It's purple-ish and has a purple-ish tinted windshield.

It's been parking there for a year or so. The colour is what makes it stand out the most, other than the ST distinctive look (which is superior anyway).

Well sort of, the story below explains.  8)

Accidently paid it forward this afternoon. As I was riding home, my left front indicator wasn't working so I pulled over on Moreton Drive to fix the loose wire. I pulled up behind a motorcycle (Ducati) and a Taxi. I assumed the Ducati had broken down and he was getting the cab home.

The guy in the bike gear was looking a little stressed, so as I remounted my bike to head home I caught his eye and gave a nod. He asked me something, so I pulled over, turned off the music in my ears, and asked him what he said. He said he was from Victoria, and he had come up for the Ulysses at Maryborough and his wife flew in at 1 pm this afternoon (it was now 5:40 pm), however, she flew into Sunshine Coast Airport. As he'd used his GPS in his phone, his phone was flat and he didn't know how to get to Sunshine Coast Airport. The Taxi was going to charge him $300, to guide him to the sunny coast. He offered me $200, to guide him. I declined and said I'd do it for nothing. He then said he needed fuel, so he'd top my bike up for the trip up and back.

At the Shell at Nudgee, I discovered he has a Honda ST100 back in Victoria and tha someone from OzSTOC had given him a card at the Ulysses meeting yesterday.

We plugged his phone into the USB charger I'd fitted to the my bike and we stopped again at BP Caboolture so he could give his wife a call. We let her know we'd be about another hour and took off again.

50 minutes later we pulled up at the Sunny coast Airport and Des and Nora were re-united. Again he wanted to pay me and again I declined. He'd covered my fuel costs, given me an excuse to stretch the legs on the ST and an opportunity to test the new headlight bulbs I fitted over the holidays.

I think we both benefitted, so I'm happy and I know he and Nora are very grateful I decided to stop there. All round win I think.
Cheers,
Gary
