A walk down memory lane - Bathurst Motorcycle Races
« on: November 21, 2016, 08:23:32 PM »
I remember watching this in my teens on TV when the CB750 was the biggest Honda you could get.

Quote - There is no word in the Australian motorsports lexicon more evocative than Bathurst. Over the years Australia has played host (and continues to play host) to motor sporting events at the highest level possible up to and including rounds of various world championships, but even these pale into insignificance when compared to the title of today’s article.

My only trip to the Bathurst bike races was in 1985 the year the police started the riot and got it shut down
I was riding my Suzuki GS850 shaft drive and we camped on the hill
I got photos some where, I will have to try find them  :thumb
