You can order from your local Honda Dealer or buy from OS which might be cheaper

Prices from here http://www.discounthondaparts.com/default.asp as that 'where I got my parts from.

STAY, R. FR. PATROL  88800-MCS-A30                           $39.03

STAY, L. FR. PATROL  88900-MCS-A30                            $39.03

2 x BOLT, FLANGE (6X40)  96001-06040-00 $0.89 x 2 = $1.78

2 x BOLT, FLANGE (6X50) 96001-06050-00  $0.89 x 2 = $1.78

or $US81.62 plus $51.99 shipping $US133.61 or about $AUD145

There's a few US dealer sites you can buy from so just a matter of searching but this one supplies US police bikes so worth a look http://www.hollisterpowersports.com/default.asp

Top product.  Of course they only come in white, but I resprayed mine Candy Glory Red.
Note you do really need the bolts because they are quite a bit longer and by the mount's design, the bottom ones are longer again.
You have to live without the flexible rubber insert, but the mounts are the duck's nuts.  It's only a matter of minutes to remove them if you need to, provided to put a plug in the positive wire.  To earth goes under on bolt using a washer-type connector.

There's a modified rubber insert available to accommodate the bracket?

From the same site I got the bracket prices from.

RUB, R. MIRROR COVER 88112-MCS-A30 $US12.46

RUB, L. MIRROR COVER  88122-MCS-A30 $US12.46

So if JC orders these as well then the  postage will go up to $US54.99

Dang.  I didn't see those when I got mine.  Thought I was clever ordering the correct bolts.

Thanks TJ, I just checked that site out for the 1100 brackets. Prices are about the same to the site I use but they offer a cheaper shipping rate at partzilla.com so when I'm ready to order I'll go there.

I can't understand why you didn't spray the bike white instead!  :Stirpot

I do like white bikes- once had one.  But this needed less paint.    :p

And there's no colour called Candy Glory White.  Snow White?  (nah, already taken)

Thanks for all your help.
Local bracket prices are $135 each.
Partzilla seems marginally cheaper than DiscountHondaParts.
2 brackets and 4 bolts plus postage from USA is about the same as 1 bracket, locally supplied.
