I was getting excited by all the N/QLD rides, but a lot of them are in Central Qld.

As far as we're concerned, NQ starts in Mackay and goes North.


Can Yeppoon be relabelled as C/QLD??

When I lived in Cairns in '75, north of Townsville was Effing Q, hmmmmm ........ may be it was FNQ.  Well it was almost 44 years ago.

I remember it was effing hot and humid.

Yes, the Far North Qld Electricity Board blokes were always humorously referred to as the "F'n-QEB", much to their disgust.

Hi JC,
All the RTE rides that are being run by the North Queensland team (aka Scarlett Thunderbolt) have now been relabeled as "C&N /QLD"

The rides have been labelled this way as a general indication that the RTE rides are set up more for Central and or North Queensland members then the rides marked as QLD.

However as always all RTE rides are open for anyone to attend regardless of where they reside.

Given the size of Qld, FN Qld could easily have their own RTE destinations so go for it JC. Qld could easily have 3 RTE regions. Would just mean you need a FN Qld Co-ordinator. May not need to be every month as some could be a common location with C Qld. The same could go for SE & C Qld. I'd head to Goomeri for a combined C & SE Qld RTE, if shifts allow. SE Qld have done it before on a couple of occasions but I wouldn't expect FN Qld riders to come that far. Just food for thought.
