Fuel on the Stuart Highway

I'm tinkering with an idea, and was seeking advice about where 24 hour fuel might be available on the Stuart Highway, heading north from Port Augusta.  I'm sure some of our LD riders will have the answer as web searches have not been helpful.

Spuds Roadhouse closes 10pm (sorry not 24Hr) next Glendambo maybe a shell or BP? close 10pm (not 24Hr either)  next one Cober Pedy which is 24Hrs.  How far up do you need to go?

I normally give them a phone call to confirm their timings, maybe you can talk with the manager to leave some jerry cans out for you?

The 24-hour servos are Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Marla, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, Darwin.
You'll need at least one receipt between Tennant Creek and Katherine as the distance is greater than the 600 km IBA-imposed limit. Renner Springs has a 24-hour fuel card system but I don't rely on card systems. You can still stop there for a receipt from the pub if the pumps are not working.

So you could plan to do the section between Tenant Creek and Katherine in the daylight?

As a general rule ride Port Augusta to the SA/NT border at night because the limit is 110 kph which you may not achieve if the animals are about. Ride the rest in daylight where the limit is 130 kph. Particularly ride Alice Springs to the Ali-Curung bridge in daylight as there is no speed limit.

I have nothing definite in mind, and it's just a planning exercise or a mind game for the time being.   Thanks for the great information, which has given me some ideas to work on.
