Pocket STocker:
Have been wearing one of these walking/running in our winter temps and found them fantastic, bought another one yesterday in black (on special) at $50 normally $89 from a quality manufacture Outdoor Research.

These are a mid-layer also designed to be a heavy base-layer, wick moisture away and keep you warm.

Check them out we use these and our Icebreaker merino thermals instead of the winter liner in our jackets, warmer with less bulk.

Available on SPECIAL at Adventure 195, they have a online shop.

QUICK OVERVIEW
Designed with Outdoor Research's Radiant LT Fleece™, this lightweight, wicking zip top is the ideal second layer or base layer. The highly breathable grid fleece pulls moisture from your skin when the ascent amps up the challenge. For greater ventilation, push up the arms and unzip the neck-to-chest zipper to be cooled by the mountain breeze. On days when you need to keep the sun off without getting too hot, the Radiant LT Zip Top™ also offers light coverage as an outer layer.

ST2UP:
These tops have worked out so well that the guys here in the mountain bike club have all headed off to buy them as well for their early morning ride.....worth checking them out if you want a warm but thin riding shirt.

Biggles:
"Mid layer" tops and bottoms are included in tomorrow's ALDI sale.
$25 each.  Don't know the quality- prolly not Merino.  But other ALDI bike gear has been pretty good quality so far.
