ST1100 Exhaust and Screens
« on: July 22, 2012, 08:59:06 PM »
Has anyone fitted the Delcavic 17" tri-oval mufflers? Off Ebay, out of the USA (A$417) they are $180 cheaper than Australian ($599) stock, after postage... Looks the goods to me.
Also, anyone seen/used a Rifle screen out of America? if so, what size? I'm looking at the 24" light tint. Again, way cheaper than local ones (less then A$200 inc freight).
Any help/info is much appreciated.

Hi Leethal,

I found the link to your rifle screen http://rifle.com/Motorcycle-Windshields/Honda/Honda-ST1100-Replacement-Windshield.aspx
and saved it just in case I need to replace mine again. Mine was replaced with a slightly tinted 10cm higher screen 18months ago and was bought from David Silver Spares for about $90 plus frieght.

ive got the 450 cm carbon firbre but think the 350 cm may have been better as the tail pipe is further backto rear wheel than stock. must say the extra lenght has grown on me and with the towbar dosent look out of place.  lost photobucket password but will post photo as soon as i find it

as per here is the pics and you may see the tip is past the wheel.

as per the tow bar does hide the lenght

what ever way you go the long or the short they say the lenght makes no differance to the sound and that is good.
