« on: November 16, 2013, 11:43:56 AM »
i thought i would pop in on here and let you all know i just picked up a great 2nd hand trailer from a guy named Rob selling his ST1100.
Fitted tow bar at his place and then towed home to fit wiring. Still going with that bit but here are some piccies for now.
The advertised pic:

Arrived home and straight into work on wiring.

Just other pics of it.

Now to finish it off and get some pics out on the open road...
See you all out there....

Took first run tonight around 130km round trip up the hill. Towed beautifully at 110+. Looking forward to getting lots of use from it.

It looks like an early model from the Classic Trailer company.

I've got a 10yr old Ultralite with Forward Motion Retardation "FMR".
(it is a poor excuse for brakes - but better than nothing, that's for sure)

There have been some failures of the drawbars, but that could well be due to overloading and towing at speed and/or over rough roads on a regular basis.
Just check for stress fractures at the front edge of the box on a regular basis and get the rails plated if required.
