You probably could use it, but it would weigh more than the trailer...

There was a link to a lighter swivel hitch posted here some where, cost about $100 I think. If I find it I will post a link.

Yep, it bolts on with electric glue....

Plan B:- Weld it to a plate that you can bolt on. Personally, I would weld it on..

Woo Hoo my cargo Pod was delivered today, I had been searching for one that was 1200mm long, and 790mm wide, I have not been able to find a second hand one the right size or under $300, hence why I was looking for toolboxes and the like

one of my customers sells the Cargo Pods popped into the shop, and informed me that he had this brand new Rhino Pod that he could not sell as it was to small, it is 1200mm by 800mm (Volume Roughly 340L)

Cost: The princely sum of $100 cash!

It is a perfect fit!

Fully lockable, it is going to bolt on nicely

Streak, It seems that since you brought that white ST 1300 everything's just falling into place for you, :runyay but I have to ask, are you going to paint the cargo pod white or black, or just leave it as is? :grin

Plan is a simple one, frame will be black , esky, pod and mudguards grey, job done  :thumb

I think it is going to look very neat and tidy once completed. Plan is to tow it to Yeppoon overnighter for its first proper test run

Grey should go very well with white and black.............Yeppoon, I love that place, I very nearly moved up there about 27 years ago, I made plans that didn't quite come off, it should be a very nice ride with the trailer behind! :grin

Interesting, any tips to where to get a swivel hitch from?

I went the uniglide hitch
had to do a small mod to the hitch and tow bar plate but the connection on the bike is solid and everything else moves behind it
Cheers
