Last weekend before Mrs. Glimt returns from Japan... I could be tempted if it's not too far east.
-
What about a ride to Bathurst???
-
Bathurst would be OK, shouldn’t be too busy during School holidays. Did you have any place in particular to eat . . Are we talking lunnch here?
-
Bathurst or that area gets my vote.....not that I can go :||||

I am not very familiar with eateries in Bathurst . . Does anyone want to nominate one as the RTE destination? We’ll make it a lunch and meet at 12 noon . .

Sadly, I think Bathurst is a tad too far East for you Bodø but you would be most welcome, also it is just for lunch not an overnighter . .
-

Just a tad. Also I've just realised it's a sunday. However, that week's roster hasn't come out yet but if I fluke monday off I could just do it. I did go to Bathurst last month so I know where it is.
edit:
Roster is out. Day off is thursday so that rules me out. :'(

Great ride to this rte at Bathurst with Wilko & knave good feed at The pub just a shame not a few more could have made it did a lap round the track :wht11 :hatwave

I rode from Sydney to Bathurst via the Bells Line of Road. The air across the mountains was crystal clear after some overnight showers. The temperature dropped to a refreshing 10 degrees at some of the higher areas. I got to Bathurst a bit early which gave me time for a lap of the track and a lazy coffee. It was good to catch up with the Mudgee duo over lunch at the pub.
I returned home via the same way that I had come up and had a pretty good run back. The wind had picked up quite a bit by the time I got home. All in all it was a great day's ride. Thanks to Team OzSTOC for putting it on. Hopefully, I can get to a few more RTE's later in the year.
