My worst fears have been realised today, and I'm required to attend a training day in Brisbane on Saturday 4th March.

I plan on leaving Adelaide on Thursday morning and arriving at Harrington on Friday arvo. I'm not sure if that plan will hook up with any others who are going.

I read the list of attendees prepared by JuST Peter but it appears Chris and I have been left off the list! Yes we are attending this RTE. We'll be riding down with Dbfive arriving at Harrington on Friday evening and have booked accommodation at Harrington for 2 nights and will be at the dinner on Sat night. Please add BenT and Chris to the list of attendees!!!!!!

It looks like there will be a few people in Harrington on the Friday night. I presume the Harrington Club would be happy to accommodate us two nights in a row or are there other venues within walking distance?

Are there any spare rooms/beds going?

If not I will throw the tent on and camp.

Weather for this area on Fri/Sat/Sun is looking....well not overly favourable for fair weather riders.

Our plan is to attend on the bike but we will revert to the car as late as Fiday morning....Sicman advises he is in the same position. So we will have seating for 7 additional bodies if needed Saturday for the run from Harrington down to Nabiac and return.

And I'm sure their may be others who revert to 4 wheels for comfort/safety reasons.

So.....don't let the weather detract you from attending, remember this like all RTE's is a social gathering of like minded folk.
