« on: November 29, 2017, 08:00:29 PM »
 :rd13 :rd13 :rd13

Hi Chaps, well it has happened, I have heard rumors and  now I have seen it with my own eyes.

<My 2003 St 1300 has just rolled past 200,000 klms and guess what, I now have a genuine 2003 model with a genuine 125 klms on the speedo, YES they do go back to ZERO at 200,000 klms.

Anyone want to purchase a Really low  genuine miieage ST 1300 ???

Put another 70,000 on it and I'll believe you...
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

this will have everyone who has purchased an ST1300 worried  :eek about whether the low k's bike they purchased has rolled over 200k. :law I wonder if NSW RMS keep info on pinkslip kilometres recorded and if that info is available to new owners of old bikes. The same if any other states have annual roadworthy certs..

Well I am confident mine was legitimate when I bought it. 2 years old with 8,000 k's on the clock.  :grin  That was 10 years ago last month. Still got her too.  :blu13

That's a fault in the ADR requirement where motorcycles need only to record up to 199,999km (maybe 200,000) as most bikes never get there.

Not worried in the slightest. Owned by a little old man who didnt use it as he was too small and light to handle it. So it sat unused for quite a while. You can tell by condition as well
