Fiona will be joining me on the ride. We'll be gaving coffee at Narellan Maccas at the big intersection.  Should get there just after 10am for about a 30-45 mins stop.  Anyone wishing to join us, then riding up together, is more than welcome.
Red, loud, rowdy, and proud.

I don't want a pickle...I just wanna ride my motorcikle!

Space is limited inside the shop (table booked for ?, "I'll see what I can do" from staff) so it may be a case of grabbing a pie and look at the bikes and having a good old chat :think1

Safe ride everyone and see you tomorrow  :eat

Max predicted is 12° at Wentworth Falls. So bring something warm just in case. The ride up and back should be good though. See you all there.  :Whipped

Sorry everyone but i can't make it. I've hit a massive pot hole with the ST which has destroyed the front rim and tyre.
So if anyone has a spare late model abs front wheel let me know.
Thanks

Back home after another great RTE. Beautiful day, great company and awesome pies. I had the 'big breakfast'. I could do that again.

Hope everyone made it home safely.

Great day had, and I trust everyone got home safe and happy. Already looking forward to the next one .... BB pie that is. :eat

The universe provided a wonderful day, sunshine and pleasant temps. I met Don and Jackie at Narrellan  Macca's as arranged by A2Z Allen and Fiona, who due to a dead battery didn't arrive on time. Don and I went via the Northern Rd then across to Mulgoa Rd and onto the Great Western Hwy and up the mountain to arrive at Mountain High Pies  at 11.57 with  3 mins to spare as noted by Onesie.  Allen and Fiona arriving about 10 mins later. There was a message sent from Flash telling of his dilemma after hitting a HUGE pothole shredding his front tyre and trashing his rim. So Flash, Annie and her Mum didn't attend.  :'(
There were ST's out the front and round the side, and a bike or 2 from other STables.  a couple of newbies and many familiar faces all ready to consume the great pies on offer. I did a head count of 26 but I may have missed a couple of Onesie's crew of 12.
There was a OzSTOC pic or 2 taken so please can someone post them up.
I travelled  home with Don and Jackie this time turning off at Mulgoa and going thru Warragamba, Greendale, the Oaks and when we got to the edge of Picton found Barkers Lodge Rd closed due to a fatal accident, details unknown, so a little more riding via Thirlmere were I departed ways with Don and Jackie heading south and me back to Picton.
 This was my longeST ride since Toowoomba back in March, winter hadn't been kind to me but with winter ending tomorrow I hope to be out on STranger more making up for lost k's.
I had a great day and met some new people and caught up with some familiar faces.
 I truST every one arrived at their deSTinations and home safe. I lQQk forward to meeting up on the next RTE.  ++

 :think1 hmmm there's a lack of smileys in this poST.  :beer

I cannot add any further to Johnny's eloquent words so I will have to simply settle with a couple of pics from the side. Unfortunately I forgot to take shots from the from of the pie shop.

Here's a short fast video on part of the journey to Mountain High Pies:

Most of the STeeds and other rides were parked round the side where Onesie's (1C's) entourage made up 1/2 the numbers;

1C's newest STeed had the blue W.A. number plate  "ST1300";

Talking about number plates, ST.George was talking 2 new ST owner RedFive (from Orange) who said he once had a Yamaha FKR1300 (don't remember the actual model code - just using FKR1300 4 the sake of the point) and when he registered the bike he was issued the random number plate "FKR13"!;

I really enjoyed meeting STriders again that I have met b4 and new acquaintances like Redfive, Linda and Wilco. "Handy Andy" Atoyot was there with wife Lindy and it was so good 2 catch up with them again.

The Big Breakfast Pie was indeed a novelty - comprised of bacon, poached egg, potato mash, mince and mayonnaise (should b freshly made every day) - it was very enjoyable 2 eat - unfortunately on the way home the gizzards started rumbling and by home time I had "the runs" and have been on the run since; In my family I have the reputation of reacting to even slightly off food while everyone else is fine.
This is 2 much information isn't it. OK, I'll finish now - gotta run!

:beer Cheers :beer Gregory
