Some People...Sheesh!
« on: July 29, 2012, 04:09:28 PM »
So - Yesterday morning, I took Mrs Diesel on the bike to brekky at Maleny right? - all good.

Today, I took Mrs Diesel on the bike to afternoon tea at the Pitstop cafe up the range on Mt Mee-Dayboro Rd - okay?...

Guess what? She still hasn't WASHED MY BIKE!!!!!     :well

Should I:

- lash her to the yard arm for a few weeks?;
- flog her to within an inch of life?; or
- close my legs for a month to teach her a lesson?

What do you guys do when such insubordination is apparent?

Advice sought.

Cheers, Diesel

PS - Nobody better tell her I posted this!!   :-(((       :nahnah

Diesel,

Mate, count yourself very lucky. At least your missus will mount your STeed, I can't get mine anywhere near it. Perhaps its my insistance that she wear a little leather skirt that troubles her....I just don't know.
But really count your actions as a deposit at the bank, they do build up interest (or brownie points) that you may withdraw (read emotional blackmail) and use at a later stage.

Yours in brotherhood  :beer

Ony trouble with cleaning the bike is it gets dirty again..........lol

I suppose we should make an effort and tidy it up a bit for Friday's run to the border. Normally Heather will have it half done before I even think about doing it.
Same with Heather's bike, at least once a week for her..........lol

My advice is that you will never have enough points in the bank to cover any trips you want to do, so why waste points?  Perhaps give her a thrill by you washing the bike in the speedos....

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Diesel, I think you are lucky to get your misses on the back. I would love to be able too share the riding experience with me. I would even wash my own bike if she would get on the back :thumbsup :blk13

I had mine on the back yesterday.  We just got rolling and she banged my helmet three times with what sounded like a hammer.  I stopped and said "This better be important!" with my ears still ringing from the banging.  She'd forgotten to put on her gloves.  We're gonna have to establish a better communication system- and I don't plan to put a mic in her helmet, thanks all the same for the suggestion...     :crazy

If I told mine to wash the bike I would probably be needing the tooth fairy.
I wash my own bike, If she can turn my underwear pink I'm letting her nowhere near the bike.
