Introduction
« on: November 06, 2011, 11:16:50 PM »
I thought I would say hi to everyone. My mates call me Webby, and I live at Camp Hill in Brisbane. I have a wife Sue and two kids, James (20) and Laura (18). I have recently joined the site as a member. It is a great community to be part of. I have returned to riding after an extended dry spell and have purchased a 2001 Candy Apple Red St1100. It is a great bike and I am starting to realize how much I have missed riding and the friendships that bike riders have. I am looking forward to meeting the SEQ members and riding with them. Thanks for making such a gat forum available to everyone, and my donation towards keeping the web site going will wing its way to the moderator tomorrow.

Very capable bike, Webby.  The fact it's 10 years old means nothing- they go forever with minimal care.  When I read sagas about chains stretching and sprockets needing replacing I'm thankful for that little bit of drive-train lash others mock.  Shaft drives rule!  :thumbs
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
