Would it be possible to get a jacket in straight black with the club's name & logo still embroidered on
(in orange) in the exact same spot ?
IE : the exact same jacket minus the orange bits.
That much colour in yours truly's XXXL size would be an affront to my delicate senses  :whistle

It Has Arrived!!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS.....

Fitting:

Sizing wise they are very close, it is marked as an XL, should be marked as an Large, but that is part of what we are doing is working all this out, as we can get them to change the sizing on the measurements, unfortunately i have put on 5kg since i did my measurements to get it made, so it is a firm fit on my not so hourglass figure, but that is my fault not the manufacturers (to many pies at RTE's).

Jacket Quality:

This i am VERY impressed with, everything is very net and tidy right down to the embroidery of the OzSTOC artwork, all the clips are solid and strong, the vents are not over long but well placed, there is inside the jacket for zipping to riding pants.

the Colours are excellent, the orange is not over bright but distinctive, the white is the same, and the black sets everything off nicely.

Testing

Keeping in mind i have not ridden in this jacket yet (i am taking it out this weekend for a ride test hoping to get plenty of conditions to try it in!)

IMPORTANT!

This is just an update, and not a final opinion or jacket, so please wait until i have ride tested it, i am going to do a full video review to send to all OzSTOC members via email, and also post up here and facebook so everyone gets a full 100% rundown on the jacket.

Quite good actually, similar to my touring jacket, not as light as my mesh summer jacket, i think everyone will be quite happy  :thumb

How's the fit with one or both liners in?  My shape (gourd not hourglass) necessitated XXL in Dririder.  That means sleeves are a bit long etc.  So, are you in the XL in the photo?  Overall though it looks a pretty nice jacket.

The Jacket Streak is wearing is marked as an XL......BUT don't be focused on the label size of this prototype  jacket.

This is how this will play out just for little old us by the manufacture through Mark at Zen with consultation from OzSTOC.......by using this Jacket and having a number of vastly different body shapes try the jacket over the coming week or so we will size this Jacket for the manufacture.

Of the 3 people that have tried the jacket including Streak who are all in the forefront of the clothing industry and had the opportunity to compare with multiple other off the shelf garments in this category they have determined that this Jacket should be sized as a size Large (at this stage)......we have 3 more OzSTOC members of varying sizes attending the shop over the next few days to try on the Jacket and other garments for size comparison.

Over the weekend a Revzilla style of video comparison is being produced and will be posted here on the forum and on our FB page for an indepth review of the Jacket.

So again don't be focused on the label size of THIS jacket it will be changed by the manufacture to our recommendation of size through Zen Motorcycles.....you don't get service like that just anywhere  :-++

Whoa.  Looks like One Size Fitz All!
It seems to have expanded in the post, or is that an optical illusion brought on by the darts in the colour scheme?

Certainly has all the desired features.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
