Interesting article. Looks like my shoei helmet with DOT certification, purchased from the USA might stand up in court when I am busted for riding without a lid... Because it's all too confusing...

Just maybe one of these years, the legislators will realise that Australia is ONE country...how hard is it  :cuss

Does that mean that the same helmet that is avail in Aust, but can be bought overseas will comply even though there is no Aust 'label' ??  :popcorn



I think it probably would as it appears the laws are too complicated for anyone to understand... Who would try and argue against something when there isn't any clarity?
