More than a couple.  Including a schmick looking white 1300 with the Police light brackets that I've ordered.  But with rectangular lights that I thought would look bad, but in fact look pretty good.  I saw a pair of rectangular Narvas at Supacheap Auto.

Rectangular usually don't have the best beam pattern, but if designed well can put a lot of light where you need it, and they can be more compact than round/oval.

Biggles, you can get light bracket from the states. The brackets go through the hole in the front of the mirror housing for the 1300. You don't have to cut your mirror cover. Check out www.casportTouring.com (http://www.casportTouring.com)
$121.00

The genuine police bracket requires no cutting of plastics

The genuine police bracket requires no cutting of plastics

and they cost $82 including the four longer bolts required.
The downside is the $50 freight!   :'(

I rather like the look of these, as they don't go in through the "air intake".  And, as you say, no need to butcher Soichiro Honda's artwork to fit that third type that goes under the mirrors.

And Malcolm just told me we two got the very last 2 available.  Anyone else wanting Honda ST1300 Police brackets go on back-order.

Hay Biggles, we can cover our costs handsomely if we decided to sell them.

Look up ST1300 P any year (they're all the same).
Then upper cowl parts.  Listed there, items 11 and 12.  You also need to order the long screws items 22 and 23.

As per the email I got from them, you might have to wait for a backorder.
No harm in trying.
