The only thing I forgot was that about 3 or 4 km after I turned off the Highway for Peterborough I saw two 'roos. With the southerly wind they had their backs to it and they were quite still. Had they been moving I might have picked them sooner instead of being almost on top of them. No drama - I know they're likely to be in that area and take it a bit slower at night there.
