Title: 2016-09-05 Horrocks Pass
Post by: alans1100 on September 06, 2016, 11:48:47 PM: Took some video on my trip to Port Augusta yesterday from Wilmington to and through Horrocks Pass. Then back up through the pass to Wilmington on the way back home. Cam under the LH mirror gives me the most stable image at most speeds.

We had fires through there a couple years ago which was good for the native vegetation plus this year more rainfall as well.

Arrange to ride Germein Gorge Road, Horrocks and Pichi Richi in a circut. They are all in the same region and make for a fantastic trilogy.

This is probably the best way to do it coming from down South. https://goo.gl/maps/cYwjHEtTGCn

Germein Gorge is a little narrower with more bends and hence a little slower.
