Ian(Beatup)seems to think it was from the recent regular visits to the craft brewery not far from home as the crow flies. That would be a much more enjoyable way to have obtained the injuries but alas it's just repetitive heavy lifting
(again not from the  :beer)

However, we KNOW the real reason . .  WOW:

Geez Duncan I don't log on for a bit & read this! What's going on man for goodness sake your housemate is dating a doctor there must be something can be done for when a man parts with his bike he is never the same - just ask my wife she actually bought me a bike (Suzi Gixxer) many years ago because I was becoming unbearable to live with without 2 wheels. Anyway I have had 2 shoulder reconstructions the first also involved a bone scrape, a couple of tendon reattachments etc. the after pain was without understating it somewhat severe but in a few short months I was riding again. It must be past time we dropped around with a couple odf good reds for a chat?
All the best Mate :blu13

Hey Mike, hard to consult the doctor when the surgery is in Vanuatu  :grin

I think to some degree by multiple parties involved(local gp,insurer,1st physio provider) there has been mis-steps made.
My employer has a new return to work specialist (ex paramedic) that has really put things on the right track but we now have issues with both shoulders/both ulnar nerves and today's results from yesterday's MRI found C6/C7 inflammation just for something different (though not the cause of the ulnar disruption).

Catch up for a red soon  :hatwave

It has been looked after well and not abused. Most exploded either diff or transmission from towing heavy loads. I have an XLT fitted with a cargo barrier and it also has 2 spares.

Never had a problem with it.

Price reduced to $7777.
Not a single response from Gumtree after 6 weeks apart from Mr Franks regarding the smuggler which i will happily part with after the bike sells.STill spending money on it.
I will probably get it professionally cleaned & detailed prior to NatRally as i can't do it myself.

Hey STimpy  :thumbs ,
I have to say that the longer I see your bike the closer I get to making the jump. :phone I have even spoken to SWAMBO about it. Problem is that I don't want to get rid of the 11 although placing the 11 on club plates might be a solution. (I am paying a fortune already in regos and insurances for the whole family as it is, bloody kids) Then there'd be two STeeds and Batgirl (2015 GL1800B) in the stable.
Ooooh the conundrum.   :think1

She is a fine mistress Ruben, one which i'm reluctant to give up.
I was hoping for a conclusive decision from my specialist appointment today in the direction of surgery &/or career retraining but i left with referrals for ultrasound scans & peripheral nerve studies to be done on both elbows instead which leaves me with unresolved shoulder tendonitis x 2 and a partially frozen shoulder STill up in the air as well.
She is STill a joy to ride albeit in a manner unfitting of a long distance STeed.
I think we are both in need of a long rambling adventure !
The order from Partzilla arrived yesterday and she now has a new & unstained left pie warmer lid,a brace of new mirror cover spring washers and some rubber fork top caps.

See you at Wooli   :grin

Just had a peek at the ad.  Gee, awesome looking bike. They don't know what they are passing up.  Hope you find a taker for it soon.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

STimpy, I'm actually tempted as mine now has 175,000km on the clock and still going strong, but the RDL and the MCCruise, as well as the low mileage make your bike very attractive.  At this stage I'm very reluctant to spend the dollars I would need to for an RDL and MCCruise for mine, on a bike that in all probability is worth no more than $3,000, to someone else anyway.  Too bad it's not RED which would just about have me going to the Home Financial Manager on my  "I need replacement bike honey"  knees.   :crackup

I've registered for a test ride of the 2018 GoldWing, but figure I'll never be able to afford it.

Your faithful STeed had plenty of life left yet Pete !
If i am put out to paSTure in time, i will be joining JYT,STroppy & Marion/PC for a tour of Tasmania in March...but reality tells me that it will not be on the bike sadly.
Keeping it just for short rides seems like it's doing it no juSTice but i'm happy to keep on keeping on until it sells.
My next choice of Steed would make Gadget happy at least  ;-*

I agree.   Compression is still right up there, and valve clearances have been checked on schedule and have never needed adjusting. Fluids have always been regularly changed.  She has new swing arm bearings, UV joint in the drive shaft, and now a new final drive and should be good for ages.  I still get a bit excited every time I climb aboard.   :grin

I wouldn't be so sure.  I wonder if a three-wheeled machine (with just 1 at the rear) that requires a helmet and bike licence might be hinted at?  I don't think he's especially a fan of Peter Parker.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
