No way, not with Mrs Sabie on the Suzuki. We'll take the road south from Charters Towers through belyando, emerald and down to Toowoomba. We'll stay with the kids at Meringandan, and then onto You guys at Guyra and so forth....

Just look at what is happening here friends
not even 1 month gone after this years AGM and the line up and bookings is just about the same for next years AGM.

It really says something about this wonderful group of people and the fun we have not only getting to and from but also at the AGM,

And also for the enthusiasm shown by all, for all the other RTE's in between WOW
When I am feeling a little of the black dog syndrome I just reread things on this forum.

I was just thinking the same thing. At this rate it won't be too long that demand for accommodation will be so high we'll need to keep the rallies to capital cities!

I went on a ride with the Townsville RAT's tonight Sat 13th. A couple there have said they would love to join Mrs Sabie and myself on next years ride.

They're not OzSTOC members, they do ride a Honda. It's a Honda 1300 Fury. (I don't know how he's going to get it there with only 180k range).

Anyway, is it OK for them to come? I told them about the rally and apparently it's something they've wanted to do for many years. Their Names are Jim And Laurel. They're a mature retired couple and nice people.

Let us know and we'll start the organising process...

Your not wrong, especially when she's knocking the door at 60, Jim is 61 or 62....  He gets 180 k's out of a tank, so looks like extra fuel will need to be carried and the bike will need to be set up for some kind of luggage.

Are you happy for them to tag along on the GOR with us? Nice couple and friendly.

That's bonkers.

They will have to come down the coast to make sure they have enough servos. It may be challenging to find if they enter Vic at the mallacoota side.

I'd say we will, Mrs Sabie's bike has saddlebags and a large tail bag, so room for extra fuel won't be a problem.

They seem pretty serious about coming and reckon its been a life long dream to do a run like that. So we'll help them as much as we can..

Count me in considering i am only 10kms from the Caravan Park still staying in a cabin Friday and Saturday nights would not be the same if i stayed at home. I live on five acers at a place called Sulky between Ballarat and Creswick and will welcome anyone wanting to pitch a tent in the week leading up to the rally.
