Just a suggestion this time round, can we arrange name tags, ideally with real names, home town (or state) and Forum names underneath. We could either have stick-on thingos that everyone fills in when they arrive or, if I could get some sort of list in advance, I would be happy to make up tags beforehand (with plenty of spares for last minute drop-ins of course!)

I've put this post in the National Rally Thread as it relates to our preparation for the rally, so Moderators if its in the wrong spot please move or delete as the case maybe.

An update from the Sabie Camp

Mrs Sabie's Boulevard is in getting the modifications to the controls. What they've done is very clever in relocating the floor boards with an adapter plate which will be powder coated, i was actually very impressed with the work. the adapter bracket has brought the floor boards out about an inch and back about 2 inches.

A set of Risers to bring the handle bars up an inch and back 2 inches. We've been in to do the final measure up and so the final trim, paint and powder coat and final assembly is underway.

Mrs Sabie, Jim and Laurel and myself have had our first route planning meeting and out departure date is Saturday the 10th March 2014.

At this stage Garners have two ST1300s but look like off loading the high milage one soon.

Now just have to wait for some cheap air fares.

So at least we will be on an ST next year.

Woo hoo!!! Just booked my airfares to Melbourne for my uncle's 60th (weekend before National Rally). Hopefully I'll be hiring an ST1300, waiting for a call back from Garners re availability, worst case scenario I'll be there in a hire car.....
