Well I have now committed to the trip to down town Ballarat for the Rally.

To the organisers, can you put me down for one attending on a white one please.

I have been to Ballarat before and know the weather can be pretty serious at any stage of the year so I have gone out on a limb and booked a 3 bedroom villa that sleeps up to 7.

If Anyone else is interested in sharing the cost of one of the rooms, give me a email, GORDO and JUST PETER expressed interest earlier. tghough@live.com.au.

I am planning to arrive PM on Thursday the 20.3.14 and departing am Monday the 24.3.14.

I'm greatly disappointed that I have to remove myself from the list of (confirmed) attendees. Other things have come up that must be attended to in March. A bummer, but that is life I suppose. I sincerely hope everyone going will be safe and have a great time. I'll be thinking of you at the time.

Having said that, one of the calls on my time may mean I will be in Melbourne around rally time, so I may be able to visit overnight, but I will be in/on four wheels, not two. Plans will firm up in the next two or three weeks.

(if the shirts have been printed, I am very happy to contribute to the cost - just say....
                                        If I turn up in a car, am I still eligible for a shirt and a badge? That would be nice.)

No worries Bluey, I think you'll be ok re shirts etc... turning up is the only limitation (2 wheels or 4) :D

All members are welcome regardless of how they get there! You can arrive via pogo stick and you will get your shirt and badge!

Well Dick it was good news, 'cause now I can't go  . I had cataracts removed a couple of years ago, had one eye lasered recently to correct an error, now have to have the other one done too, on - of all dates - the 21st of next month.
I'd re-schedule except getting an appointment with this particular Doctor is hard enough without complicating things like asking for another date.

Have you ordered extra long T-shirts?  I like them long for when it's cold. 

That way, I can to tuck some T-shirt around it, to keep it a bit warmer.
