Another "Home Run"- Aspley 10:35 EST.
Despite rain so heavy around Sydney that everyone was driving with their hazard lights on and plenty were parked waiting it out.
Oh, and the roadworks!    :||||

Glad you got home safe Biggles and to all OzSTOC members returning from Ballarat, and to all members returning home
after looks like a great weekend. Looking forward to reading all your adventures
And to all OzSTOCers that are extending and doing the Tassie loop have a great time  :hatwave

Ros and I arrived home in Sydney this afternoon after a somewhat wet and cold ride from Cooma and after covering a leisurely 2800Km over the seven days we were away. We would like to add our thanks to all the organisers, Particularly Marcus, Tanya, Dan and Mrs Dan who put so much into the whole weekend to make it the success it most certainly was. It was certainly a highlight of our riding year and we enjoyed catching up with old friends as well as meeting new ones. We are already looking forward to the next one.

I walked in the door around 10.30 this morning. A wet ride from Batemans Bay over the Clyde (glad I had new tyres put on in Ballarat), but it cleared after that into Canberra.  We had a great ride from Mansfield to Whitfield, then stayed in bright and then over to Lakes Entrance and up to Moruya for the night.  First time for a long time that the sides of the tyres got more wear than the centre  :grin

Pictures to follow.

I got home around 4.30 yesterday afternoon very wet and cold but in high spirits after the best weekend away with the OzSTOC mob that I've experienced yet!
Many thanks to Marcus and Daniel for superb organisation and a great ride on Saturday. A big thank you must also go to Streak and Diesel for their huge input into what has become such as big event in our Ozstoc calendar.

My ride from Ballarat on Sunday was cool to cold, but it took me through country I'd not seen before so that was another plus for the weekend. An overnighter at Holbrook saw me go up the Olympic Highway before branching off at Cootamundra to Boorowa. I had intended to go through to Crookwell then onto Goulbourn, but the weather turned nasty so I aimed for Yass then slabbed it home in very wet conditions.

One thing I saw which was appreciated was the highly visible presence of the NSW Police parked along the way with their top lights on to suggest people slow down in the poor driving conditions.
Well done them  ++

I saw three HP cars parked in the cross-overs on the M7 where viz was down to 50 metres.  They weren't displaying lights and I thought, "You have got to be kidding!  You'll never make any revenue in these conditions.  You must be waiting for an accident to attend, like tow truck drivers."  No one had the least intention of doing anything illegal- in fact there were quite a few pulled off the road.

Hi Team,
             Along with Denis & Diane we added on a trip via Clunes to Castlemaine & Daylesford on the Sunday. The Grampians via Moyston and back to Ballarat via Skipton on Monday, then yesterday down to Geelong & across on the ferry to arrive home safe last night.
Big thanks to all for making the weekend so enjoyable, special mention to Marcus, Dan & their partners plus Streak & Diesel for your work to ensure it all happened. That pub at Blackwood is a little Gem - well done.
Cheers

I really enjoyed your annual STOC event! You have a great county, great people and a wonderful place to ride. I do hope I can return some day.
I do appreciate the STOC shirt and mug given to me at the Sunday breakfast and can't wait to wear it to a STOC event back in the US. It should make a few Americans green with envy. I have less than two weeks to go here and I can truly say it's all been good! Thanks again.
Cheers

SHATTERED! Looks like my Micro SD card with all the video I shot for the last two weeks of my travels and attendees at the National Rally, has crapped itself and is giving me no access to the video files!     :||||

I have tried 2 computers, a media player, and simply connecting the cam to the pooter - no dice!     :cuss

Double dammit!  Will try an expert before all hope is lost.

I still have all my pics for a RR of sorts, but the accompanying vids would have painted a much better picture!     :'(

Will keep you posted.

That's a bummer Diesel. That's happened to me before so kinda know how you feel. Hope you get it sorted.

Red, loud, rowdy, and proud.
