Looking for opinions on After Market Seats, All other Bikes I've had I put Mustang Vintage Seats on.
Thought I'd ask what others have and what they think of them for long distance comfort.
TIA

I fitted a Sargent rider and pillion seat set to my 2008 ST1300. It was flatter and wider than the OEM, and a little harder, but significantly more comfortable. I eventually fitted a sheepskin cover which added to the comfort. With that setup, I rode many long days and long distances. See

My current bike is a BMW R1200RT and I've had a custom Russel Daylong seat made, and it very good indeed. See

I know that there are other aftermarket or modification options, but these are the two that I have experience with, and would recommend either.

I have a Sargent, rode 400km the other day, very happy with the standard and comfort, priced around $850

+1 on the Russell day long, and Lane loves it as well. Lots of town work is interesting as the "wings" can get in the way for short people (not a prob for me at 193cm)

I'm another one that recommends the Russel Daylong, by far and away the best seat the wife and I have ever had
Well worth the money imho

I have a sergeant. Whilst quite good I'm putting a sit and fly cover on just for that extra bit of comfort. I like the airflow on the mesh type covers.

We just had seats modified by MJM in Goulburn NSW.
After riding with them for a couple of thousand km I find them equivalent to the Russel Daylong seats I had (and cheaper
)
