Transparent’ Samsung truck could make driving much safer

Quote from http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/208717-transparent-samsung-truck-could-make-driving-much-safer

The concept takes the traditional long-distance truck and adds some technology to aid both truck drivers and trailing traffic. The Samsung Safety Truck features a wireless front camera and four outdoor rear monitors to project the traffic conditions for both the truck driver and trailing drivers.

Interesting idea.

It would allow one to duck to the side when the truck is about to hit a roo. Beats running into a wall of meat.

Not sure, but if all vehicles are doing the same speed, is there are need to pass?????? I wonder. Instead of making passing safer, make all traffic do the same speed, there for eliminating the need to pass, seems simple dosen`t it!? Pays sometime not to overthink a problem...  :wht11 :think1

Might be easier to train roos to use designated crossings, than to educate some drivers in safe passing manoeuvres  :crackup

What can be done to educate some caged drivers who already believe that motorcyclists are transparent?

motorcyclists aren't transparent we're completely invisible to cage drivers.

Lately I have seen why motorcyclists are invisible. They pop up where they couldnt possibly be at impossible speeds
