It's a spot that I have been keen to visit, ever since the Perth NatRally, so Glen fired up the Wing, and we rode to New Norcia for lunch at the iconic hotel. We struck a bit of rain and traffic on the way there, but the ride home was clear. Thanks to LindsayGT for posting the link to info about this historic and very interesting place.
Tomorrow morning I head from Perth to Albany via the Margaret River, leaving behind some wonderful hospitality with Therese and Glen. Thank you for opening your home to me.

Another good run today after leaving the WAG home around 7.30am. After topping up soon after leaving, I had my first stop at Margaret River for a coffee and snack. The place was packed and I have never seen so many cafes all in one place, and they were all chockers. A photo stop at Cape Leewun, and another short break at Walpole, and I rolled up at Albany around 4.00. Did get one heavy shower near Bunbury but that was it. My biggest hazard was the many sticks and branches on the road through the forested areas. There is another South Aussie here in the park, doing a "lap" on CanAm, but going in the opposite direction. He has just started, while I am now in my final week. All is well.
