Excellent news Pete.  Great news that you have come out of your ‘endurance test ‘ with such a good result.  Thank you for sharing the detailed reports along the way and for demystifying the various treatments.
Best regards,  Dave

I just got another "All Clear" with my latest three monthly check.   Every one of these is a blessing, with my current on-going good health not something I take for granted.

Time to celebrate with a big ride!    :grin
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Don't I know about how lucky you can be , in 2014 I had appendicitis when they did scans to see how inflamed the appendix was they found a mass on my right kidney ( cancer ) in which I had part of my Kidney removed , without my appendix playing up I wouldn't have known about it until it was too late .since then I have annual blood tests and scans , those blood test have now shown my PSA has risen from 3.9 to 8.7 from last year to this year three months later it has dropped to 7.6 , so I am on three monthly blood tests to see if it comes down any lower otherwise more scans and biopsy will be next.

Sometimes luck plays a major part in our lives.  Seeking assistance for one thing and finding something else lurking in the background that has not even had an effect on you yet.  I hope  everything continues on a positive note

I have a mate who found he had kidney cancer in 2010, and had surgery to remove the orange sized tumor.   He's been all clear ever since and celebtates life every day.  :thumbsup

He and I were two of six people from our small Church who were diagnosed with cancer, all in the same week or so.   Two have since passed on, but the other four of us have formed a kind of "brotherhood" of survivors.

That's a significant cluster.
When the ABC studio in Brisbane had a high incidence of breast cancer diagnoses they ended up bulldozing the building and getting a flash new one right in the city next to the river.
Excellent that you have that support group.  Not everyone does...
